The former leader of the Michigan State University Alumni Association, Scott Westerman, violated MSU’s misconduct policy prior to his departure earlier this year. That, according to a report from WLNS-TV.

According to the report, Westerman is no longer a university employee, and there will be no disciplinary actions. The report does not detail the form of any misconduct.

In a statement, MSU says “we continue to encourage students, faculty and staff to report any incidents. The university is committed to thoroughly investigating all complaints to create a safer, healthier and more respectful campus community.”

Westerman issued a statement to WKAR News saying that he disagrees with the finding and regrets the distraction this has caused. His statement concludes “I no longer work for the institution and will have no further comments.”

The Title IX investigation began in February, and Westerman announced his retirement in April.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
