We speak with MSU School of Journalism graduate and author Jessica Lipowski about her book “Flavors of Life” and her time living and working abroad in Amsterdam.

Not long after graduating from MSU’s School of Journalism, Detroit native Jessica Lipowski moved to Amsterdam to work in the travel industry and fulfill a lifelong dream of living abroad.

She has written a book called “Flavors of Life” about a diverse group of restaurant owners in Amsterdam, and she’s coming back to MSU this week to speak to students about it.

Current State talks with Lipowski about her career and her writing.
