Michigan attorney defends Sherlock Holmes copyright

"The game is afoot". That's one of many recognizable phrases from the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. John Bursch is a Grand Rapids lawyer who has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court on eight occasions. Now, one of his most unusual clients is the Doyle estate.He's working on a case revolving around the Sherlock Holmes copyright. Current State talks with Bursch about the proposed publication of new Holmes stories written by contemporary authors.
