A documentary filmmaker will bring his latest movie to East Lansing tonight. It’s the third installment of Darryl Roberts series called “America the Beautiful”.The newest installment is subtitled “The Sexualization of Our Youth.” It follows his 2011 movies “The Thin Commandments” and the first in the series, “Is America Obsessed With Beauty?”, from 2008.
Roberts will be on the MSU campus for a screening tonight at the Kellogg Center.
He tells Current State's Scott Pohl that the first of these films sprung from a conversation with a friend about romances that didn’t pan out.
