Our Live Music Friday guest this week is Rachel Brown. She has a Friday night Pump House concert with her band the Beatnik Playboys in East Lansing, and you can also see here during a solo Acoustic Lunch show today at the Broad Art Museum.

Our Live Music Friday guest today is Rachel Brown. She’s the lead singer of a band called the Beatnik Playboys. Brown is performing solo at 12:30 p.m. at an Acoustic Lunch program at the Broad Art Museum. Tonight, you can hear her at the Pump House in East Lansing with the Beatnik Playboys, starting at 6:30.

Rachel Brown stopped by WKAR's Studio S for a conversation and to play for us, including her song "Simpler Times."
