Actor Tom Wopat is best known for his portrayal of Luke Duke in the old TV show “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
Since then, Wopat has flourished as a Tony-nominated Broadway star in shows like Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago, and Glengarry Glen Ross.
Tonight, and for the next two weeks at the Barn Theater in Augusta, he returns to Michigan as the lead role in “The Will Rogers Follies.”
Current State’s Jamie Paisley caught up with Wopat and the show’s director, Ann Cooley, ahead of their debut tonight.
