Live Music Friday: Sally Potter

WKAR File Photo

If you're not a serious singer but like to vocalize in the shower or your car, there’s a more public opportunity to cut loose this weekend in East Lansing.

It’s the 14th annual Mid-Winter Singing Festival tonight and tomorrow and the East Lansing Hannah Community Center.

You don’t even have to memorize the words; lyric sheets are provided. Some top vocal talent will lead the singing.

We welcome back Sally Potter as our Live Music Friday guest.  Not only does Sally organize the singing festival, she also books all of the Ten Pound Fiddle concerts.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
