It’s time again for the beloved East Lansing Film Festival.  Each year, the festival takes on a certain flavor, and this year’s is “Exceptional People.”

The 2016 line up features a diverse range of people and subjects, from eloquent journalists who write obituaries, to a horse and his owner that defied all odds, to artists who create from yarn.

The ELFF kicks off this Thursday at Studio C in Okemos and runs until November 10.

We talk with ELFF director Susan Woods.
