Three years after the city’s troubles began, Flint’s water is drinkable but the aftermath of the crisis remains.

This very issue is explored in NOVA's "Poisoned Water,” a documentary on the genesis of Flint’s water problems, how they are being combated and how they relate to the rest of the U.S.

WKAR Morning Edition Host Brooke Allen spoke with Kelly Thomson, a producer of the documentary to get a preview.

The film is slated to air tonight, at 9 p.m. on PBS.

Brooke Allen served as local producer and host for Morning Edition, from June 2016-March 2018.
