Nordic Fire Festival Celebrates Viking Lore

A replica Viking-era ship will be burned in a bonfire on Friday during the 2018 Michigan Nordic Fire Festival.

The 2018 Michigan Nordic Fire Festival begins Friday evening at Lincoln Park in Charlotte. It’s a celebration of Scandinavian culture, which of course includes the Vikings.

WKAR’s Kevin Lavery spoke with festival president Bryan Myrkle.
