RIP Gordie Howe.

On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" Gordie Howe, Detroit Red Wings legend, passed away in his Toledo home at the age of 88. Capping off a week already full of mourning, Al puts "Mr. Hockey" into context and describes what he did for the city of Detroit. Two guests join the show to provide their knowledge on Howe, first with Richard Kincaide, Detroit sports author and broadcaster. Kincaide remembers some of the best Howe moments and qualities before Tom Newton, Michigan State hockey assistant coach is on to do the same thing. Finally, a bow is wrapped around the dour week, with Al and engineer Isaac Constans giving an overview of what else happened along with their final goodbye's to both Howe and Muhammad Ali.
