On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" Michigan State hockey finally announced its long-awaited coaching decision. Danton Cole, a former MSU player, has his "dream job," and now it's time to see what he can do with it. Al walks step-by-step through his plan to make Michigan State a powerhouse again, and rejuvenate Munn Arena. Engineer Isaac Constans asserts that the move was more appropriate than ever. And with that comes story time--a call back to a different era of MSU hockey. With one chapter of history unfolds another, as Matt Essell retired from Holt High school boys basketball after 22 years. He joins the show around the 35-minute mark to describe what went into his decision and what he plans to do going forward. Finally, sound the sirens.
