On this Friday edition of "Current Sports with Al Martin," day one of the Moneyball Pro-Am has come and gone and Al gets you up to speed on what you may have missed when some of the best athletes in the state of Michigan faced off on the hardwood. Furthermore, you'll hear from former Spartan guard Eron Harris, who showed up to watch his teammates play while rehabbing from the gruesome knee injury that ended his MSU career. Mark Dantonio famously once said that "pride comes before the fall." That phrase has taken on a new meaning with a college basketball recruit. Ibrahim Johnson, a former Division II player at Montevallo and brother of Texas commit Mohamed Bamba, has accused his younger brother of accepting gifts and cash from a financial advisor in Michigan. Al shares his thoughts on the matter and explains why Johnson may just be a little too jealous. Another edition of the S.W.A.P. meet premiers later in the show as James Moore tells a chilling story involving a car crash he was in that took the live of a young man. Reflection Friday guides you into the weekend as Al and intern Jacob Herbert look back on the week and share intriguing stories that did not make our airwaves. From all of us here at WKAR's "Current Sports," have a wonderful fourth of July weekend.
