Flint may be in line for millions of dollars of federal help with lead water infrastructure. We review that development and others in September’s Great Lakes Month in Review.

Flint and other U.S. cities may be in line for millions of federal dollars to help with lead water infrastructure. Environmentalists are trying to make the Great Lakes a topic in the Presidential campaign. And coke, the industrial product, not the drink, is again an issue in Detroit. Those environmental stories made the news this month.
