The city of Grand Ledge has issued a Boil Water Advisory for people who live along Brookside Drive, Gretchen Lane as well as Beagle Elementary School, including concessions at the track and ball fields.

It’s all because of a water main break along South Street.

The advisory means you should boil tap water or use bottled water for drinking, cooking or bathing young children.

The city said a planned "Relay For Life" event at the school on Saturday will continue. Restrooms will be open throughout the event. However, participants are encouraged to bring their own water. They will be discouraged from drinking tap water inside the school.
