One county at a time, ex-MI couple scours America

A pair of recent Michigan college graduates will remember 2015 for a unique reason. It’s the year they finished their quest to travel to all 3,108 counties in the contiguous 48 states. Meet Jonathan and Jennifer Riehl and hear about their odyssey.

A couple of Michigan Technological University graduates have spent years going out of their way. That’s because Jonathan and Jennifer Riehl’s goal has been to travel to all of America’s counties in the lower 48 states. There are 3,108. That’s not a journey accomplished by spending a lot of time on interstate highways. Their odyssey began nine years ago.

Current State talks with the Riehls about their adventure.
