Swimming in a winter wonderland with ‘Scuba Santa’

We’ve probably all had our picture taken with Santa, but how many of you have taken an underwater picture with him? Current State's Katie Cook did last Friday at Capital City Scuba’s Scuba Dive with Santa.

It’s that time of year when kids line up to sit on Santa’s lap for a picture, but last Friday they were lining up to get a picture with him, believe it or not, under water.

Capital City Scuba in Old Town Lansing hosts this event every year where they take over the pool at Mason High School, and anybody over the age of 8 who wants to can learn how to scuba dive and then swim down and get a picture with Santa. Proceeds from the event benefit the Dive Pirates Foundation.

Current State producer Katie Cook went to see what it was all about.
