On Tuesday evening, the East Lansing City Council  voted to move forward with the Center City District Development.

The proposed development will modify areas along East Grand River avenue.

The project includes creating new and diverse housing options, parking and retail space.

Most notably, the district will bring a Target store with an urban grocery option.

The project is pending input from the East Lansing Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (BRA). And the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
