This morning, Dr. Larry Nassar is expected to appear in the 56th District Court in Charlotte. A judge must decide if Nassar will go to trial for 7 first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges in Eaton County.

Last week, a judge ordered Nassar to stand trial on 12-similar counts in Ingham County.

Dr. Nassar treated female gymnasts at Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics. MSU fired him last year.

He denies inappropriately touching his patients.

In addition to the local charges, Dr. Nassar begins a federal trial in August. He’s accused of possessing thousands of images of child pornography.

He’s also being sued by dozens of women and girls.

WKAR's Kevin Lavery will tweet from the courtroom at 9:00 a.m. Click on this sentence to follow his tweets.
