The City of East Lansing is looking for volunteers to serve on several of its advisory boards and commissions.

People interested in serving their community through active civic engagement are encouraged to apply.

The majority of the boards and commissions meet monthly and do not require prior experience.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for a board or commission even if there isn’t a vacancy.

That’s because applications are kept on file to fill vacancies when they occur.

Those interested can apply for a board or commission by submitting an online application at the city of East Lansing’s website.
