The group, which is open to the Mid-Michigan community, unites MSU students and Special Olympics participants in weekly basketball and flag football games.

Dressage asks a lot of horse and rider, as the two athletes need to team up to perform dance-like routines for judges and audiences. It’s challenging, but MSU’s student riders love the chance to improve their horsemanship.

The Lab, a ski and snowboard shop, opened two years ago to serve as a seasonal hub for mid-Michigan’s snow sports community. And now it’s thriving.

The sport of archery is not yet in the mainstream, but Michigan State students in the club enjoy having the facilities and atmosphere to train.
