Every month we look back at the state's top news stories. For June, the topics include important U.S. Supreme Court rulings and the ongoing issue of how to pay for road repairs.

In June, Michigan news was topped by the impact of several U.S. Supreme Court rulings. All have particular relevance for our state. And the state’s road funding discussion continued with yesterday's news of a Senate plan that would include new gas tax revenue.

For our June Month in Review, Current State talks with state capitol reporters Rick Pluta, Capitol Bureau Chief for the Michigan Public Radio Network, and Emily Lawler of MLive.
