Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III faces 15 criminal counts, most of them involving soliciting prostitutes and pandering, a felony. We talk with Lansing City Pulse reporter Todd Heywood about the charges and how the City Pulse became aware of police concerns about Dunnings going back to last summer.
A longtime Ingham county official is in serious trouble with the law. Yesterday, county prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III was arraigned on fifteen criminal charges, most involving prostitution. One of the alleged crimes is a felony that carries a penalty of up to twenty years in prison.
At a press conference yesterday, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette and Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wrigglesworth detailed 14 misdemeanor charges against the 63-year old official, including ten counts of engaging in prostitution and four counts of neglect of duty.
