Lansing council member: only 'doubletalk' from Bernero administration on attorney deal

The Lansing City Council has been trying to learn why and how former city attorney Janene McIntyre received a roughly $160,000 severance deal when she left the city recently. City councilperson Jody Washington updates the situation.

Members of the Lansing city council have been trying to learn more about how a $160,000 severance agreement was granted to recently departed city attorney Janene McIntyre. Last night, the council questioned a high-ranking member of Mayor Virg Bernero’s administration about the deal.
