Trump MI campaign director: Lansing speech will address security

Donald Trump is coming to Lansing to speak today. We speak with Trump's Michigan presidential campaign manager, Scott Hagerstrom.

The whirlwind that is the Donald Trump campaign is about to descend on Lansing. The Republican Presidential candidate visits the Summit sports complex in Dimondale today for a rally.

Recent polls suggest a comfortable lead for Democrat Hillary Clinton among Michigan voters.

The Trump visit also comes just after the hiring of a new national campaign manager.

Many in mid-Michigan wonder what the visit might leave in its wake. The candidate’s many bombastic comments and missteps have dominated media coverage of the Presidential campaign.

Current State talks with the person who oversees the Trump campaign in Michigan. Scott Hagerstrom is a political consultant, practicing attorney and lifelong Michigan resident who been active with many conservative causes, including Americans for Prosperity and the Coalition Against Higher Taxes.
