Ingham County Ballot Proposals

Ingham County Potter Park Zoo and Potter Park Operational Millage Question – updated: March 11 at 3:16 p.m. (115/115 precincts reported).

The millage proposal would reauthorize funding for Potter Park Zoo and Potter Park including operations, maintenance and improvements.

YES – 55,440

NO – 19,993

Countywide System of Trails and Parks Millage Renewal Question – updated: March 11 at 3:16 p.m.(115/115 precincts reported).

Echoing the same language as the proposal in 2014, this millage would renew funding for parks and trails, including the upkeep and creation. This includes the Lansing River Trail.

YES – 55,027

NO – 19,439

Ingham County Health Services Millage – updated: March 11 at 3:16 p.m. (115/115 precincts reported).

For those not eligible for Medicaid or don’t have medical insurance, the millage proposal would provide low-income Ingham County residents with mental health services and basic health care.

City of East Lansing

Ballot Proposal – March 11 at 3:16 p.m.(17/17 precincts reported).

The ballot proposal is asking if the East Lansing City Council can sell land to the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) to build an office building.

Williamstown Township

Road Improvements Bond Proposal – updated: March 11 at 3:16 p.m. (2/2 precincts reported).

Williamston Township and Ingham County would like to borrow money in this bond proposal to reconstruct and replace roads in the township.

Ingham Intermediate School District

CATA District 

Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) Millage Renewal Proposition

This proposal asks for the renewal of a previous millage to continue service of the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA).
