MSU’s College of Communication Arts & Sciences hosts its inaugural Spartan Sports Journalism Classic on Thursday.
The event will feature panel discussions with top sports journalists working in print, television, radio and online. MSU basketball great Steve Smith is the host and moderator. CAS Dean Pam Whitten shares more details, including a tribute planned for WKAR’s Earle Robinson.
In addition to Smith other distinguished alumni attending include Jarrett Bell of USA Today, Ryan Field and Greg Kelser of Fox Sports Detroit, Kelly Thesier of the LPGA and Lynn Henning of the Detroit News, just to name a few.
