en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amtrak

The third annual Michigan Transportation Odyssey is going on this week. Michigan Transportation stakeholders from around the state  took on the challenge of traveling across Michigan using only passenger transportation.

This cross state trip serves as a way to to assess problems firsthand, but also celebrate success for  Michigan’s Public Transportation Authority achievements and innovations.

Kathryn Gray, the coordinator of the trip, is participating in the three day trek from Traverse City to Detroit. She is called in from her current location in Kalamazoo to give Current State an update.
