MSU documentary explores cross-cultural challenges

http://vimeo.com/75602634

Travel adventures, culture shock and honest conversations are all topics brought up in a new documentary that follows four American students, one from MSU, and four Chinese students as they travel through China.

The film is called “The Dialogue” and was created under a unique partnership with Crossing Borders Education and Michigan State University. It will be submitted to international film festivals worldwide but not before it’s screening, tonight in East Lansing.

Dawn Pysarchik, the coordinator of the project at Michigan State, and Peter Briggs, the Director of MSU's Office of International Students and Scholars, talked about the movie with Current State. Pysarchik says "The Dialogue" follows individuals who don't know each other through a process of trying to learn about one another and how to resolve conflicts.
