Business, education are priorities for new Arts Council director

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing has a new executive director. Debbie Mikula has replaced the departed Leslie Donaldson.

Donaldson left Lansing a few months ago to become director of the Interlochen College of Creative Arts. Mikula says the council's mission is to advocate for and advance arts and culture in the capital region. That includes professional development opportunities for artists.
