Detroit photographer captures Nigeria's video game culture

Is there a video game culture in West Africa?  With that question in mind Detroit based photographer Nick Hagen set out so see what he could find in Lagos, Nigeria.What he discovered was a culture that was simultaneously unexpected and recognizable. Current State’s Emauele Berry spoke with Hagen about his photography series "Lagos Gaming". He says Lagos is different than how most people envision Nigeria.
