Merry Morash | University Distinguished Professor 2023

Merry Morash’s career has been focused on improving the criminal justice system. Focused on qualitative research early on, she is now telling the stories of women entangled in the justice system in hopes of dismantling stereotypes, and brining about change. Morash was named a Michigan State University Distinguished Professor in 2023, one of the highest honors the university can bestow on faculty.
