What to know as Biden drops out of 2024 presidential race

With support from Democrats eroding by the day, President Biden announced he’s dropping out of the 2024 race and endorsing Vice President Harris to be his party’s nominee. Harris later said in a statement, “My intention is to earn and win this nomination.” White House correspondent Laura Barrón-López, political correspondent Lisa Desjardins and NPR’s Domenico Montanaro join John Yang to discuss.
