In other news Friday, Iran's new foreign minister confirmed he sent a Twitter message celebrating the Jewish new year, Rosh Hashanah. He said the gesture was aimed at Iran's small Jewish population. Also, gold miners in South Africa accepted a new wage offer after walking off the job Tuesday.
