Who benefits from House GOP tax bill?

Season 2017 Episode 1236 | 15m 24s

It's a big step for Republicans' tax overhaul plans: the House voted 227 to 205 to pass its version of the bill. While a new analysis suggests that the plans would increase taxes for middle and lower-income Americans, Republicans exuberantly deny that idea. Lisa Desjardins reports and Judy Woodruff gets perspectives from Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, and Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas.
