Joe Rexrode is leaving the Detroit Free Press to become a sports columnist in Nashville.

Sportswriter Joe Rexrode has covered MSU sports for the Lansing State Journal and the Detroit Free press for years. He's leaving Michigan for a job in Tennessee.

From national championships to first round eliminations, from Rose Bowl triumphs to stunning gridiron losses, they’re all a part of the Spartan saga.

For nearly two decades, a constant has been sports writer Joe Rexrode on the sidelines covering the story for Michigan sports fans.
