WKAR is pleased to announce that three programs produced and one presented by WKAR have been nominated for Michigan Emmy Awards. Nominees for the 35th Michigan Emmys were announced Wednesday, May 15.
In the Arts/Entertainment, BackStage Pass: Seth & May was nominated. The program was produced by Tim Zeko and Michael Mihalus.
In the Children/Youth/Teens--Program/Special category, QuizBusters was recognized. Michael Mihalus and Matt Ottinger are the program producers.
Evening with the Governor 2012 was nominated in the Interview/Discussion category. The program producer was Tim Skubick.
Also presented on WKAR and recognized with a nomination in the Environment category was Sustaining Our Young Forests, produced by Scott Allman and CLEARWATER MEDIA with partners WKAR and Charles Nelson
