WKAR Adds New Political Call-In To NewsTalk Lineup

America On The Line host Jonathan Capehart

America On the Line is a new Monday-Thursday call-in designed to bring Americans together for a national conversation during the lead-up to the midterm elections. The program comes to WKAR NewsTalk on Monday, September 10 at 10pm.

America On The Line with Jonathan Capehart - WNYC

America On the Line will be hosted by Jonathan Capehart, a nationally known, award-winning journalist. Jonathan will be joined by a rotating cast of regular contributors including: Charlie Sykes, longtime conservative talk radio host; Jamil Smith, LA based journalist reporting on race, gender, politics and culture; Joan Walsh, journalist, The Nation, CNN and WNYC; Kai Wright, correspondent, United States of Anxiety; Maria Hinojosa from NPR's Latino USA; Amy Walter, political analyst and host of the Friday edition of The Takeaway; Brain Lehrer, WNYC's Peabody Award-winning public affairs host.

America On the Line airs Mondays through Thursdays,  Sep. 10-Nov. 8 at 10pm on WKAR NewsTalk 105.1FM, streaming at wkar.org.
