Apr. 13 at 10pm on WKAR-HD 23.1 & STREAMINGAmerican Insurrection investigates the rising threat of far-right violence in America.With ProPublica, this episode of Frontline exposes the individuals and ideologies behind a wave of crimes, culminating in the attack on the Capitol. The film will also touch on the plot to capture Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The documentary is from the same team behind Frontline and ProPublica’s award-winning Documenting Hate series. Correspondent A.C. Thompson, director Rick Rowley and producers Karim Hajj and Jacquie Soohen explore how far-right groups were emboldened and encouraged by former President Trump, how individuals were radicalized and brought into the political landscape and what the fears and concerns are going forward.
