Bellipotent in Billy Budd. Based on the novella by Herman Melville, this 1997 performance conducted by Steuart Bedford features Philip Langridge as Captain Vere, James Morris as Claggart, and Dwayne Croft as Billy Budd, the sailor with the stutter.
