RESOLVED: AM870 reception may be weak while operating at low power

UPDATE: Repairs have been completed. AM870 is now broadcasting at full power as of 2:08pm 7/3/24. No further interruptions of service are expected at this time.

AM870 NewsTalk broadcast is experiencing technical difficulties. Reception may be weak while broadcasting at low power. WKAR engineers are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Online streaming of NewsTalk and TV services are not affected.

UPDATE: AM870 will continue to broadcast at low power until further notice. Repairs are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, but it is dependent upon the arrival of essential parts.
