LSO kicks off season with Tchaikovsky

Tonight’s Lansing Symphony Orchestra concert launches their 85th season. The program includes works by Gandolfi, Bruch and Tchaikovsky.WKAR classical music host Jody Knol talked with LSO music director Timothy Muffitt about tonight’s Masterworks One concert and the soloist for the program, Yevgeny Kutik.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
Jody Knol began announcing classical music on 90.5 WKAR while a student at MSU in 1982.
