Audiobook superstar comes to Okemos

Tonight, an Audie-Award winning audiobook reader will visit Okemos to talk about his craft. George Guidall has read the audiobook versions of titles like John Irving’s “A Widow for One Year” and Wally Lamb’s “I Know This Much Is True”. He’ll be at the Okemos Public Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Guidall has narrated 1,200 unabridged books.Current State’s Scott Pohl talked with George Guidall about recording audiobooks for a mass audience.
