Gershwin music is the focus of the first Lansing Symphony Orchestra concert of the season Friday. Current State's Melissa Benmark talks with conductor Timothy Muffitt and pianist Ralph Votapek about the program.

The Lansing Symphony Orchestra starts a new season Friday night. It’s an all-George Gershwin concert, with well-known favorites "Rhapsody in Blue" and the "Concerto in F" as well as two lesser-known works.

Current State's Melissa Benmark speaks with conductor Timothy Muffitt and pianist Ralph Votapek, who’s going to be pretty busy at the concert.
