Old Town Lansing will host a classical music concert tomorrow, not in any kind of concert hall, but instead in an art gallery. We speak with the MSU Professor and founder of the Absolute Chamber Music Series about this concert series, bringing back the days when music concerts were much more casual.

Old Town Lansing has hosted several music festivals and celebrations, and tomorrow night, the Absolute Gallery on East Grand River Avenue with also be hosting a “soirée” that is appropriately called the Absolute Music Chamber Series.

Current State's Jamie Paisley talks with co-founder and MSU College of Music flute professor Richard Sherman about the program. He'll be joined by a colleague, MSU musicologist Kevin Bartig, for an all-Russian program.
