Our Live Music Friday guest is the veteran local jazz singer Betty Baxter. On Sunday, the Jazz Alliance of Mid-Michigan is honoring her at their seventh annual Tribute Concert.

Today’s Live Music Friday guest is legendary jazz singer Betty Baxter. On Sunday, she’ll be honored at the Jazz Alliance of Mid-Michigan’s seventh annual JAMM Tribute Concert at the Old Town Marquee in Old Town Lansing. She’s joined by guitarist Doug Fritch.

Together, they performed "Meet Me Where They Play the Blues" live in WKAR’s Studio S.
