Kate Peterson is an organizer of this weekend's Women In the Arts Festival in East Lansing. She performed live from WKAR's Studio S.

The Women In the Arts Festival returns to East Lansing this weekend. Our Live Music Friday guest is Kate Peterson. The singer-songwriter is also an organizer of the festival.

Our Live Music Friday guest today is Kate Peterson. Along with her solo work, you may know the local indie singer-songwriter as half of the folk music duo Nervous But Excited.

Along with her music, the MSU grad is an organizer of the annual Women In the Arts Festival in East Lansing. The 30th anniversary of the festival is today and Saturday. Peterson will perform at the festival on Saturday.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
