The Children’s Ballet Theater of Michigan is celebrating their 35th anniversary this year of productions here in Mid-Michigan. We speak with Artistic Director and choreographer Gregory George ahead of their annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s beloved "Nutcracker," which leaps onto the Wharton Center stage this weekend.

On Friday night, after stores will be picked clean of their wares, 50 or so dancers will assemble on stage at the Wharton Center. It’s the start of three days of performances of Tchaikovsky’s classic "Nutcracker" by the Children’s Ballet Theater of Michigan.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley talks with the company’s Artistic Director and Choreographer,  Gregory George, about the production.
