BONUS MUSIC: Shelby Ann-Marie, "Wanna Go Back"

Shelby Ann-Marie is our Live Music Friday guest. Shelby is just 18 years old, but she’s already making a name for herself in country music. The Portland St. Patrick High School graduate was a contestant on “American Idol” at the age of 15, and she’s opened for top country artists like Trace Adkins and The Band Perry. On the 4th of July, she opened for Kane Brown at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City.

Her band includes Jon Brown on lead guitar, Tom Brown on rhythm guitar, and Dave Fitzpatrick on bass. They performed live from WKAR's Studio S.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
