UM alumna harpist hears colors, returns to perform

We speak with a harpist who has synesthesia. When Dr. Rachel Brandwein hears music, she sees colors as well.

Wednesday morning in Ann Arbor, there’s a bit of a homecoming concert at the Ann Arbor Society for Musical Arts. They’re bringing a University of Michigan alum back to perform on her instrument, the harp.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley speaks with harpist Dr. Rachel Brandwein about coming back to Michigan after winning the 2014 Mu Phi Epsilon Concerto Competition.
